REFRLECTING TACTILITY OF SPELT HUSKS THROUGH LIGHT
After experimenting with the raw material and understanding the characteristics of the bran-textile, the object's purpose and design were conceived.
The wall sconce showcases maximum simplicity in shape and joining technique, drawing attention to the raw texture of the biomaterial and its interplay with light. Adapting to the direct influences of light, tones of the sconce appear from a muted brown up to a vibrant amber.
This approach makes the sconce extremely versatile. It contrasts and complements particularly well with smooth white walls, cold-toned floors, organic or brutalist surroundings, offering a warm, illuminated character.
